This year —2017— will be our 108th Pacific Logging Congress. Our annual fundraising auction occurs on the final night of the Congress, following the President's Reception & Dinner.

Have an auction item you'd like to donate?

We are looking for auction items for both the Live and Silent Auction. 

We have a responsibility to The Pacific Forest Foundation and its education programs and we can show our support by having a great Live and Silent Auction.  Please give some serious thought to what you want to donate to the Auction, Live or Silent or both.   Here are some guidelines for each auction to help you with your donation.

 Live Auction Guidelines & Suggestions:

  • Travel and Vacation packages, such as the use of a condo at a desirable holiday location. Do you have a Time Share or holiday home you are not utilizing and would be willing to donate?
  • Tickets to an event such as sports, music, etc. Do you have any season ticket you are not utilizing?
  • Any larger, more valuable, possibly unique, items.
  • Perhaps one of your suppliers or business associates has one of the above items they would be willing to donate and receive recognition for.

Silent Auction Guidelines & Suggestions:

  • Jewelry, Home Electronics, original art, sporting goods, and other sought after items
  • Professional pottery, woodcarvings, or ceramics with inscription
  • Valuable popular hard cover books
  • Consumables such as fine wines etc.
  • Models of logging machinery, ships, automobiles, aircraft, and etc.
  • Use your imagination; any item you feel would help raise money would be appreciated.

Once you have decided on a donation item, please complete the enclosed form and fax it to the PLC office at 1-866-360-2655 (it's a toll-free number, please include the 1) so that we may record your tax-deductible contribution.  Please send the description of your auction item, preferably with a picture, no later than October 1st. If you have a small item please bring it to the convention, otherwise you may ship it to the PLC office. For larger items, please email a description and a high-quality photo or brochure.
